Description

When ground, this salt turns brownish-pink and takes on a slight sulphur taste, which gives it a spicy, smoky flavour reminiscent of egg. It is rich in minerals, especially iron. Used in Indian cooking. This salt has become popular with vegan food producers because it allows dishes to be enriched with the natural flavour of the egg. It is undoubtedly a true 'cult of naturalness' salt.
