Hailed as Cambodia's gold and the world's best, Kampot pepper dates back to the 13th century, but it only became world famous in the 20th century when European chefs started using the pepper widely in the production of pepper sauce and for flavouring steaks.
Kampot pepper is the first Cambodian product to be granted a protected designation of origin.
This pepper is delicious with meats (especially steaks), sauces and desserts.
The floral notes, light sweetness and extra-long mouthfeel of this pepper will leave no one indifferent.
