The Malabar green pepper originates from the mountainous and dense Malabar coast of Kerala, in south-west India. This region is considered globally as the home of the pepper.
Malabar green pepper has a fresh taste and a pleasantly mild spiciness. Green pepper goes well with pork, chicken, seafood, fish and veal. It is also often used in French pepper sauces.
